I learned this song in the early ‘60s from some friends of mine, Buzzy Marten and Sally Schoenfeld. I don’t know where they got it and, sadly, both have passed so it’s a mystery. If anybody knows its origin, please let me know. It has haunted me for many years and I’m glad to finally have a chance to record it.
